MathBank, a Resource Bank for Teachers and Learners in University Mathematics
Project leader: Keith Hirst
The award of one of the prestigious UK National Teaching Fellowships in 2000 to Keith Hirst, with its associated funding, provided the financial resources for this project.
The core of this project was the establishment of a modularised web-based bank of text-based teaching materials, comprising lecture notes, problems, exam questions and solutions, spreadsheets, Maple worksheets etc.
The materials remain available through a website which takes the form of a documents database, with many facilities built-in, including search, upload and download capabilities. It is hoped that this resource bank will continue to prove useful to university mathematicians in their teaching.
